Prior to the simultaneous Public Election 2024 in Indonesia, hundreds of personnel from the Regional Police Department of the Riau Islands tasked with securing the voting process underwent Health Examinations on February 6-7, 2024 at Klinik Medilab. The health examinations, attended by 911 personnel, included tests for Blood Pressure, Blood, Urine, Chest X-Ray, Electrocardiography, Treadmill and others.

Hilda Lily Afina, Head of the Health Subdivision and Trainer (Kasubbidkespol Pembina), explained that the purpose of these Health Examinations is one of Regional Police Department of the Riau Islands efforts to ensure the readiness of the Indonesian National Police personnel who will be conducting security at the polling stations. Additionally, it aims to ensure that all personnel remain in prime condition while performing their duties.
This step represents the commitment of Regional Police Department of the Riau Islands to ensure that its personnel are in optimal physical and mental condition. It is hoped that the voting process can proceed smoothly and safely for the benefit of all residents of the Riau Islands.
