Employee mental health is increasingly becoming a priority for many companies as it directly impacts both productivity and employee well-being. PT Kemet Electronics Indonesia, in collaboration with Klinik Medilab, conducted mental health training for all Heads of Department and Management Level. The aim of the training was to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, equip leaders with the skills to recognize early signs of stress and manage it effectively, and create a more supportive and inclusive work environment.

Mental health is a vital aspect of an employee’s overall well-being. In the workplace, factors such as tight deadlines, heavy responsibilities, and ineffective communication can lead to stress. If not addressed properly, this stress can result in decreased productivity, increased absenteeism, and a decline in overall employee well-being.

Through this training, Klinik Medilab offered a comprehensive approach, focusing not only on theoretical understanding of mental health but also on practical skills that can be applied in daily work life. A key focus of the training was to help leaders recognize early signs of stress or burnout, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and empathy, both towards themselves and their team members. The training also covered how to provide the right support to maintain mental balance and offer appropriate emotional and practical solutions within the company. This initiative is expected to foster a work culture that is more open to mental health issues, where everyone feels heard and supported.

With an improved understanding of stress management, employees are expected to work more efficiently, feel more motivated, and achieve higher job satisfaction. Maintaining good mental health enables employees to stay focused, productive, and creative in their daily tasks. Furthermore, with management support, employees will feel more valued and supported, ultimately leading to increased loyalty and job satisfaction.

For the company, the benefits of this training are also significant. Employees with good mental health are likely to take fewer sick days and maintain more stable job performance. Additionally, the company can foster a more harmonious and collaborative work environment, where individuals work together more effectively, without excessive pressure or conflict.
