In commemoration of the Month of National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) 2026, the Association of Occupational Safety and Health Experts (A2K3) of the Riau Islands Province organized a series of activities, including seminars, public discussions, partnerships, OSH exhibitions, as well as a fun walk and group exercise activities. These activities aimed to increase awareness, knowledge, and commitment among all stakeholders in implementing a sustainable OSH culture both in the workplace and within the community.
In these activities, PT Oshindo Medika Pratama, through its service units Klinik Medilab and Lablink, participated as a sponsor of the A2K3 Kepri program. This support reflects the company’s commitment to promoting and preventing occupational safety and health risks, while also strengthening synergy among industries, OSH professionals, educational institutions, and the general public.
As part of its tangible contribution to the National OSH Month 2026, Klinik Medilab provided a free health screening booth for participants and the community, while Lablink took part by delivering education and consultation related to workplace OSH and environmental safety.
The health screening services provided by Klinik Medilab included:
- Height and weight measurement
- Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation
- Blood pressure examination
- Color vision test
- Blood glucose test
All activities were conducted at two locations and times, namely:
- January 31, 2026, at Ibnu Sina University, held in conjunction with seminars, public discussions, and the OSH exhibition.
- February 1, 2026, at Buana Central Park Field, as part of the peak celebration of the National OSH Month involving the wider community.
Through these activities, Klinik Medilab and Lablink served not only as providers of occupational health services and workplace environmental testing, but also as strategic partners in efforts to increase awareness of the importance of early detection of health risk factors and potential workplace hazards. The free health screenings are expected to help participants recognize their health conditions at an early stage through regular medical check-ups, as well as encourage the adoption of healthy and safe lifestyles and work practices. Education on workplace OSH is also expected to assist OSH practitioners in companies to identify and evaluate potential workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, psychological, hygiene and sanitation factors.
A2K3 Kepri, together with PT Oshindo Medika Pratama, hopes that this activity will provide positive and sustainable impacts and further strengthen the OSH culture as an integral part of productivity and workforce well-being in the Riau Islands Province.
