It can lead to unsafe driving and work-related accidents which may cause serious injuries or even deaths, thus making relevant health issues a consideration in driving risk assessment.

Medical examinations for drivers are conducted to ensure the safety and health of workers in driving, especially heavy equipment operators such as: forklifts,cranes, loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, backhoes, etc.
